About Tabitha Dickson
Tabitha Dickson has been instructing dance for 17 years and has specialized in teaching young competitive dancers as well as pre-dance students. She also teaches Lyrical, Jazz, Tap and Jazz/Funk to students of all ages. Tabitha first began teaching at her mother’s studio, Houston Dance Studio, in Wapakoneta, Ohio when she was in high school. She was Kent Boyd’s (SYTYCD) first dance teacher and at age 5, introduced him into the competitive dance world. After her high school graduation, Tabitha performed professionally at the Country Tonite Theatre in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for 2 1/2 years as a featured dancer before returning to her hometown to continue teaching. Her love of the competitive dance field and dedication to teaching has won her many choreography awards. Education and growth in dance remains an exciting part of Tabitha’s life as she continues to train with many renowned instructors and choreographers. She loves being part of the team at Miller Street Dance Academy and sharing her expertise with your children and watching them achieve their goals.
